Notes on solution, by puzzle editor: Now you know that H=9 and there's no carry into the third column, so B is even, A=9-B is odd, F=A+1, G=A+2. Since 1 and 9 are already assigned, A and G can only be 3 and 5 or 5 and 7. If A is 3, then B is 6 (sixth column) and D is 3 (third column). That's a clash, so A=5, B=4, D=2, F=6, G=7. |
