Sprout is a gifted educational after school program in Chicago for gifted children ages 7-12. The focus is on socialization and academic enrichment. They also have a monthly support group meeting for parents.

Aurora University sponsors a Young Scholars Gifted Program on Saturdays for eligible student in grades K through 12. This program offers classes for children in pre-school all the way through high school, in subjects such as Fine Arts, Languages, Social Sciences, Math, Science, and Technology.

The Center for Talent Development offers programs and classes for academically talented students K-1. Programs and classes include challenging and rigorous three-week residential and commuter Summer Programs for students in grades 4 to 12, Gifted LearningLinks distance-learning courses for students in grades K to 12 (enrichment classes for grades K - 6; honors/AP for grades 6 - 12) and the Saturday Enrichment Program for preK to grade 9 students in Evanston, Glen Ellyn and Gurnee.

Da Vinci Academy offers Saturday Enrichment and Summer programs open to the public. The Saturday Enrichment programs offers a variety of classes for children ages 3-14. Courses include traditional academic subjects like math, science, art, and reading, and also specialty subjects like chess and robotics. Classes run from 8:30-11:30 on Saturday mornings, with sessions available in Fall, Winter, and Spring. The Summer program offers both a traditional day camp and a variety of academic classes. Weekly sessions will run from June to August.
