Local-Area Winners^‡

Each local group within American Mensa has the option of participating in the Contest. In 2011, Chicago Area Mensa received 98 applications, which were judged by a panel of volunteers composed of your fellow Chicago Area Mensans.

We are pleased to announce that four of our finalists earned awards: two at the local level and two at the national level. In addition, all 19 finalists received a special invitation to attend a future Mensa Monthly Gathering as our guests, free of charge.

We congratulate all of our winners and finalists and thank all who entered essays.
