“Sally” Dorothea DuBois, 88, passed away Monday, June 12, 2023. She is survived by her four loving children: Nick (Jeanette) Leep, Edgar Leep Jr., William Leep (Sherry), and Frederick Leep, grandchildren Ken (Tracy), Josh (Cara), Jessica, Adam , Tom (Tiffany), Nick, Rachel and Noah, great-grandchildren Freddy, Sammy and Ash. Also surviving are her sisters Jo Shafer, Beth McCarthy, Martha Duke and Deborah (John) Trujillo, and her brother David DuBois. Sally will be missed by Flurry, her beloved dog, who laid by her side until her very last day. Preceded in death by parents Marvin and Dorothy (Botteron) DuBois, brother Marvin DuBois, and two daughters-in-law Lori Leep and Nancy Leep.

Sally was a talented musician and organist. She sang with the Northwest Indiana Symphony and taught piano lessons for over fifty years. Sally most recently played the organ for Faith United Church of Christ.
