Wendy S. Bolduc

February 9, 1950 – May 27, 2025

Wendy S. Bolduc passed away unexpectedly on May 27, 2025, in her Chicago home. She was 75 years young, and her family was shocked and deeply saddened.

She was a generous and loving sister, aunt and friend. She will be in our hearts forever.

She was a graduate of Arlington High School and continued her education at Kalamazoo College majoring in French. She participated in the college's study abroad program spending time studying and traveling in France. It was a memorable and exciting time in her life.

Wendy loved children and entered the field of Education to serve them. She touched numerous lives as a Special Education teacher. Her interaction with her students propelled her to pursue a Doctorate degree in that field and she became a fierce advocate for her students for many years.

She enjoyed cooking and learning about food and its role in our health. Her passion led her to enroll and graduate from the Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts in Chicago. She was truly in her element and enjoyed it tremendously.

Wendy was a lover of music and dancing, reading, learning, attending cultural events and visiting the Chicago Art Museum. Family get-togethers, Chicago, Lake Michigan and Door County, Wisconsin all held a special place in her heart.

She was an active supporter of the Lincoln Park Zoo, the Alzheimer’s Association and a fan of the Chicago Cubs.

She's survived by brothers Robert (Terri) Bolduc and Brian Bolduc, and sisters Gail (Peter) Cartwright, Carol (Randy) Robertson and Chris (Dave) Schmidt as well as numerous cousins. Wendy was a loving and generous Aunt to nieces Holly (Cavan) and Kayla and nephews Jonathan (Jenny), Joshua (Kristen) and Matthew (Nicole) and an adoring Great Aunt to Sophie, Casey, Colin, Alice and June.

She was preceded in death by her parents Oliver and Barbara Bolduc.
