It’s our 42nd WeeM and since 42 is the answer to Life, the Universe, and Everything I was encouraged to try a book discussion of Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy by many Mensans. So let’s gather ’round a table and talk about one of most widely known SF titles ever! And maybe create Vogon poetry!

I have coördinated book discussions of Futures and Fantasies (the local SF&F SIG) for at least 20 years in Chicago Area Mensa.

• Registration - May 11th is the last day to qualify for the special early bird discounts. Discounts for advanced registration are available through October 12th. (Note: Full payment is required by the appropriate deadline to qualify for any discount.)
• Lodging - The hotel is offering a spectacular WeeM rate of $107 through September 30th, subject to availability. Warning: Last year the hotel increased the rate late in June with little notice so book early! If the hotel block is full, please contact our WeeM Chair who will try to expand the block.
