Program Details 2021*
Title
Debate Room
Description
Debate Room is a moderated roundtable where anyone can speak without being interrupted. Our topics will include:
- Ghosts: What experiences have you had?
- Cryptids: Bigfoot, Mothman, Chupacabra. Are they real? What rights should these creatures have if they do exist?
- The Fermi Paradox: There are many Sun-like stars, suggesting that alien civilizations should exist. Why then has there been no contact? Or has there?
- Death and Property Values: A death in a house can decrease property values by up to 25%. Is this fair? Should states be required to disclose deaths on a property?
