Artificial intelligence has exploded into the technology world in a rapid succession. It's used everywhere for everything—but is it being utilized the right way? Tommy and Kelly Galanis will share their experiences mastering the use of AI for work, research, and everyday things. They'll explain how AI can be maximized for more accurate results, when and how to use it ethically, and how to train this technology to meet your needs!

Tommy Galanis has been fascinated by computers from a young age. He turned this interest into a career and has spent the last 25 years teaching and working in the computer science field. His current interest has piqued with the rapid growth of AI, where he has spent time identifying how to maximize success with its use.

Deadlines

  • Registration - Friday, July 17th is the last day to qualify for a great discount. Discounts for advanced registration are available through Friday, October 16th. (Note: Full payment is required by the appropriate deadline to qualify for the discount for which you registered.)
  • Lodging - The hotel is offering a WeeM rate of $132 through Thursday, October 8th, subject to availability. If the hotel block is full, please contact our WeeM Chair  who will try to expand the block.

[p]Chicago Area Mensa’s Regional Gathering (RG) HalloweeM is being held at the Westin North Shore Hotel. This is a large (about 500 attendees), fun, family-friendly event. Drinks, snacks, and most meals are included. There are games, tournaments, dances, and a multi-track program as well as the infamous Costume Contest on Friday and both Pretentious Drinking and the Epicurean Experience on Saturday. [/p][p]We encourage you to register and book your room in advance to qualify for any discounts, but you may register on-site.
