So Long, Sucker! talk expands how the same underlying principles extend beyond the visual realm, appearing in mechanical systems, acoustics, electronics, and even celestial dynamics. So Long, Sucker! presentation reveals how moire effects connect disciplines and offer insights into both natural and engineered systems.

With over 30 years as a civilian engineer for the U.S. Navy, Don has worked across an extraordinary range of technologies—from satellites and ICBM guidance systems to submarine electronics, advanced radars, and other complex systems. His career reflects both technical depth and versatility in solving some of the most demanding engineering challenges. Beyond his professional achievements, he is an avid sailor and world traveler, bringing a spirit of curiosity to everything he does.

- Registration - Friday, July 17th is the last day to qualify for a great discount. Discounts for advanced registration are available through Friday, October 16th. (Note: Full payment is required by the appropriate deadline to qualify for the discount for which you registered.)
