Title

My Broken Brain: Surviving an mTBI

Description

After suffering a mild (!) traumatic brain injury and an upper cervical spine injury in a car collision, Jennifer found her world, both internal and external, drastically altered. While trying to manage and understand these frightening and challenging changes and the unpredictable recovery process, she also had to navigate the medical and insurance industries. Her goal in sharing her story is to promote understanding of this devastating and isolating invisible injury and to advocate for others with similar injuries.
