Title

Are We Living in a Simulation? Weird Clues and Creepy Coincidences

Description

Ever feel like reality glitches: déjà vu, odd coincidences, or patterns that seem too perfect to be random? Join Emily for a mind-bending exploration of the Simulation Hypothesis, the idea that our universe might be a sophisticated computer program. Together, we’ll dive into bizarre places and creatures, strange scientific discoveries, and real-world “glitches” that will have you questioning what’s real and what’s code.

Come ready to think, laugh, and maybe leave just a little unsettled. After all, the first step to escaping a simulation… is realizing you’re in one.

Presenter’s Bio

This is Emily’s third time speaking at WeeM, proving she can’t resist a good puzzle, especially when that puzzle might be reality itself. A former Fermilab employee, she's the author of a book exploring the Simulation Hypothesis, blending science and humor to ask whether life is more like The Matrix than we realize. Just don’t be surprised if, by the end of her session, you start questioning whether you're really here… or just a line of code.
