What's scarier than politics in an election year?

Nothing, that's what! Enjoy rousing debates and scary points of view at the 37th HalloweeM! Early bird registration is open, so register now to get the very best rates. Although the deadline has passed for the amazingly low hotel rate, you can still get a great deal for this year of $109 a night, so long as you book by July 25th. So, in the Chicago way, book early and often! Rooms will fill up fast at these new lower rates!

Come to WeeM to have fun with over 500 fellow Mensans and their guests. Play games, attend seminars, dance, talk, eat, drink, volunteer and laugh. Check out the photos to see what happened in past years. Once you come to WeeM, you'll be under its magical spell, returning every year.

No Housing Crisis Here!

We're excited about the venue. The Westin Chicago North Shore Hotel in Wheeling has a lot to offer. It hosts other events we know of with comparable size and similar people, and we have worked with some of their senior staff before. The hotel room block is set up and ready for your reservations. Problems with reservations may be forwarded to The Hotel Liaison for timely resolution.

Won't someone think of the children?

Bring the kids! Chicago has been working with several dedicated volunteers to create a kids' track at our functions. We've ironed out the details during our Monthly Meetings during the year and are pleased to offer you and your kids a wide variety of activities throughout the WeeM weekend. Babysitting will be offered during certain events, and WeeM speakers will deliver programs tailored for the kids.

Speechifying

A plethora of programs was offered in years past as you can see by clicking on the link to the left. This year you can expect to see some repeats of popular programs and new ones as well. As usual, you will not be disappointed, other than trying to decide which program you'd prefer to see and which ones you'll have to miss because there are too many great ones going on at the same time.

Ask not what WeeM can do for you, but what you can do for WeeM!

You may not see them, but you see what they do. Volunteers are the caretakers of our haunting! They earn collectible WeeM pins and entries into the Volunteers' Raffle. They are adored by WeeM ghosts and goblins, and are protected from evil spells. So why not volunteer now?

That Newfangled Social Media

• Registration - Discounts for advanced registration are available through October 15th. (Note: Full payment is required by the appropriate deadline to qualify for any discount).
• Excursions - Register for any of the excursions offered both before and after WeeM. If minimum participation levels aren't reached, any Excursion could be cancelled.
• Lodging - The hotel is offering a discounted WeeM rate of $109 through July 25th.
