Origami Toys for the Terribly Bored

Description

Stuck at a boring grownup dinner and the iPad is out of battery? Sitting in class waiting for everyone else to be done and you've nothing to do? Then come learn how to make Origami Toys! We'll make amazingly easy puppets, tumbling toys, and having hopping frog races among other amusements. Children of all ages welcome, but if you're in 2nd grade or under, please bring an adult with you.

Presenter’s Name

Rachel W Nelli

Presenter’s Bio

Rachel is an elementary gifted ed teacher, former hospitality queen, belly dancer, HS theater director, mom and slightly crazy cat-lady from Columbus, Ohio. She taught herself origami as a means of procrastinating when she was supposed to be working on a paper for her teaching degree. (The origami has been far more useful than the paper.)
