Latin to Spanish, or Fun Linguistics Stuff I Learned in Grad School

We often think of languages as static, constant, and unchanging, but they are very dynamic, lively things that are continually evolving. In this program, I’ll cover some of the major shifts in Classical Latin that led to modern Spanish, whatever that is! We'll look at phonological, morphological, and grammatical changes, as well as foreign borrowings and other cool stuff.
